How to Use Dismas Ministry Correspondence Courses
Options for Chaplains, Prison Ministers, and Individuals Who Are Incarcerated

At Dismas Ministry, we offer free Catholic faith-based resources to support spiritual growth behind bars. Our materials can be used in two distinct ways: through our Correspondence Course for individuals who are incarcerated, or through Chaplain-Led Study Groups within correctional facilities.

Option 1:

Incarcerated Individuals (Correspondence Course)

Our Correspondence Course provides a sructured, one-on-one study experience for individuals who are incarcerated.

Enrollment Process:

  1. The individual writes to us directly, requesting a materials brochure.
  2. We mail the brochure and an authorization form that must be signed by facility staff.
  3. Once we receive the completed form, enrollment begins.

Course Details:

We offer studies in:

  • Bible Study (3 parts)
  • Faith Study (3 parts)
